Our Mission
Through experienced training teaching and horse stewardship we help people ride to the best of their ability, look after their horses correctly, and get the best out of the sport we love.
Our modern purpose built facilities include a state of the art 60m x 20m indoor arena with an indoor horse wash, viewing room, an outdoor arena, stabling, yards and 16 agistment paddocks.
Daylesford Equestrian is located a few minutes’ drive from historic Daylesford in the Victorian central highlands.

I’m nearly 70!
“18 months ago I reluctantly took my quarter horse/TB gelding to Sally at Daylesford Equestrian for a lesson. (I hadn’t ridden properly for nearly 18 years, and felt I wasn’t good enough to ride with a dressage coach at such a lovely facility.) Sally immediately took us under her wing. She helped me relax into my riding, and I always looked forward to the next lesson.
After a few months of learning dressage, I realised that dressage was not the favourite thing for my quarter horse/TB gelding. With Sally’s help I purchased an older experienced warmblood gelding.
Midge and I have come along in leaps and bounds. After 8 months I feel I am achieving more than I ever thought possible. We are flying!! I now agist Midge at Daylesford Equestrian. He is really well cared for when I’m not there. Perfect!!

Addicted to Dressage
“My time at Daylesford Equestrian started by attending clinics hosted by Sally with Bennet Conn & Adam Reiss, this was my introduction to correct training resulting in the desire (addiction!) to become a better rider & horse person.
Over the last 12 months, I’ve continued monthly lessons with Sally returning my horse back into work post my pregnancy and my horses have been accommodated for summer spelling.
Sally recently helped with the purchase process of a lovely young warmblood for the future. The horses love it as much as we do! Sally horsemanship and dedication to her riders no matter the level and goals, has inspired me to chase those goals, learn, listen, ask questions and most of all have a lot of fun along the way!
As a coach, Sally shares her wealth of knowledge and experience with passion and positivity and always in the best interest of the horse & rider.
